Skytek U.S.A. Launches Enhanced Software Suite for U.S. Commercial Space Market

Skytek, a leading technology firm with over 20 years of innovation in Human Space Flight, is proud to announce the launch of its International Procedure Viewer Plus (IPV+) to the U.S. commercial space markets. This enhanced software suite builds on proven technology currently utilized on the International Space Station (ISS) and will also be deployed on the future Gateway mission.

IPV+ offers a comprehensive, complete end-to-end solution for the authoring, deployment, and execution of procedures. Our latest offering includes our state of the art Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) suite, utilizing the latest advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) tools.

Skytek has partnered with NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) to establish the industry standard for operations and training procedure software, supporting over 60,000 procedures. IPV+ leverages this strong heritage, enhancing usability, capability, and reliability.

Dr. Rüdiger Seine, Lead of the ESA Space Training Team, stated, “ESA has been working with Skytek on procedure-related software for more than 20 years. Building on the successful use of IPV on the ISS, the new tool suite will provide efficient management of the full procedure life-cycle. I expect this product to be used beyond the ISS and in commercial spaceflight.”

Skytek is also excited to announce the opening of its newest office in the Space Coast, Florida, with additional offices planned for Houston, TX, and Huntsville, AL. This move marks a significant expansion for the company, which has been headquartered in Dublin, Ireland.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in the U.S.,” said Dr. Sarah Bourke, Skytek CEO. “We are excited to partner with commercial spaceflight companies by making our state-of-the-art suite of tools available in this growing market. This expansion is part of our commitment to broadening our Space Technology experience to the industry leaders in space exploration.”

The U.S. offices will focus on several of Skytek’s core areas, including advanced software for spacecraft procedure development and AIT.

This strategic expansion not only strengthens Skytek’s presence in the U.S. space industry but also signals its commitment to fostering innovation and technology leadership globally.
